Alright, I'm broke and I needed a new bike. I have spent soo much time caught up in the hype of new bikes and bling components, that I forgot how much fun it is to just pedal around and enjoy myself. In an attempt to regain some of that feeling, I bought a Redline mono cog (available at both locations). Cheap, quiet and utterly reliable, the monocog is proving to me that riding is way too much fun.

Hello loyal Cactus Bike customers and comrades. I would like to take a moment and discuss our current economic state...Most obviously the current rise in gas prices.

Info on picture submissions

Hey dudes, I am really glad to see some of you enjoying this site. Alot of work went into making it and it is a very powerful tool...if it is used.

One thing I wanted to mention about submitting pictures. Keep in mind the area to display pictures is 500pixels in width. For some reason a few pictures are not resizing for whatever reason, I have not been able to figure it out yet.

If you could please make sure your pics are no bigger than 500 pixels in width when you submit them we can be sure they display perfectly on the site.

The Indestructable Haro X-7

Hey there Arizona... I just wanted to share some pictures of my Haro X-7. This has been one hell of a bike. A climber, descender, jumper and all around killer. Single pivot suspension is absolutely indestructable, it climbs like a goat, and descends like a fallen angel breaking Mach three on a elevator ride to hell!

freeriding in the desert.

Submitted by Cody on Sat, 05/03/2008 - 02:00.

Freeride means a lot of things, to a lot of different people. Ask any five people and you will normally get five different answers. During the past few years I have participated in many different types of cycling. Among my favorites you will find niches with names like; Park, BMX, dirt jumping, street riding, trials, downhill, all mountain, and freeriding. Usually freeriding is taken to mean jumping mounain bikes off of huge obstacles and bombing scary downhills, but I feel that freeriding;to me, is a culmination of all the different types of riding that I do.
